One of the nicest things about living and working in Agoura Hills is how quickly we can get to the beautiful beaches of Malibu! Our family favorite is Zuma Beach which is just a short hop over Kanan to PCH and north to Zuma. One of my favorite places to go for Sunday lunch is Paradise Cove where you can sit with your feet in the sand and enjoy a super cold cerveza with your burger. I hear they have jazz on Thursday nights but I've never been! Check it out at Paradise Cove Cafe - the ultimate in Southern California beach living.
For those of us who live right next door in Oak Park, we do most of our shopping and dining in Agoura Hills. Although there are a few Oak Park favorites we LOVE (Bean Scene, Nico's, Leila's, - see our "All About Oak Park" section for details), the restaurants and shops we visit most are in Agoura Hills.
Where is Agoura Hills? When you exit the 101 freeway at Kanan and travel North, you're in Agoura Hills. The community, a blend of
the comfortable family homes of the Hillrise, Fountainwood and Lake Lindero tracts, Agoura Hills is also made up of very high end homes like those in the Morrison Ranch and Morrison Highlands area. And more. Curious about homes in the area? Give us a call and we'll give you a tour. Or use our link to search local properties yourself.
The City of Agoura Hills website is another great place to check out what's new in the area, how to make best use of our many recreational areas and activities and the various services the city offers such as its' beautiful public library.
